Introduction: 3D Printed Mouse Trap Concept

This is for my Industrial Design class. Our group project was to redesign the common mouse trap.

Goals

  • Kill the mouse humanly (Quick kill)
  • User friendly, nothing to complicated
  • Safe to handle and be safe around pet and children
  • Ovoid messy outcomes

The idea started on a basic spring trap. That idea was then turned to this. A shocking mousetrap. The mouse crawls inside and gets shocked on the plates. The round design lets the mouse trap blend in without showing what it really is. To dispose of mouse all that had to be done was to turn the trap over a trash can making so that the mouse does not have to been touched or seen.
