About: I enjoy crafting, photography, gardening and cooking. I am an avid cooking contester and I have won several national contests.

Everyone loves chocolate!!! For this Instructable, I decided I wanted to make a chocolaty dessert featuring many forms of chocolate. I ended up using 5 different forms of chocolate - semi sweet chips, white chocolate chips, cocoa powder, mini chocolate sandwich cookies and milk chocolate snack bars! There are 6 individual layers and every layer has chocolate in it. Follow along to see how you can make a yummy, creamy chocolaty dessert with many textures. My husband and I totally enjoyed the decadence!!!

Step 1: Ingredients Needed

Chocolate Cups

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Semi-sweet Chocolate and White Chocolate Mousse

3/4 cup + 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder

1 tablespoon cool water

Chocolate Whipped Cream

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

Toppings

1/2 cup mini chocolate sandwich cookies from a 3.5-ounce package

4 (0.45-ounce) snack-sized milk chocolate candy bars

Step 2: Tools and Supplies

1/4 sheet pan

small saucepan

6 silicone baking cups

small pastry brush

small spatula

mixer

1 cup liquid measure

chopper

chopping board

several microwavable bowls

spoon

2 rolling pins

Step 3: Melt the Chocolate for the Cups

Place 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl. Place in microwave oven and time 30 seconds at 50% power. Stir the chocolate. Repeat until the chocolate stirs smooth.

Step 4: Form the Cups

Generously brush the melted chocolate inside the 6 silicone baking cups. Place on a 1/4 sheet pan. Place in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.

Step 5: Remove the Chocolate Cups

When the chocolate cups are completely frozen, carefully peel away each silicone cup from the chocolate cup. Place the chocolate cups on the 1/4 sheet pan and set aside.

Step 6: Melt the Snack Bars

Place the 4 snack size milk chocolate bars in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds. Stir. Continue microwaving for 30 seconds at 50% power until the chocolate stirs smooth.

Step 7: Make Dollops

Spoon dollops of the melted chocolate onto a sheet of waxed paper. Using the back of the spoon, smear the chocolate forming petals.

Step 8: Shape Them

Place the chocolate on the waxed paper onto the rolling pins so they will be curved. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 9: Chop the Cookies

Using a chopper on a small cutting board, chop the mini sandwich cookies. Set aside.

Step 10: Whip Cream

To make the mousse, place 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream in the mixing bowl. Using the whip attachment, beat until soft peaks form, making sure not to over beat it.

Step 11: Divide It

Place half of the whipped cream into each of 2 bowls. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 12: Warm Cream

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, cook 1/2 cup heavy cream until it simmers.

Step 13: Chocolate in Bowls

Place 1/2 cup white chips and 1/2 cup semi-sweet chips into each of 2 bowls.

Step 14: Add Warm Cream

Pour 1/4 cup of the simmering heavy cream over the white chocolate chips. Let it sit 1-2 minutes, then stir until the white chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Repeat with the remaining 1/4 cup cream and the semi-sweet chocolate chips. When stirring, if the chocolate doesn’t melt completely, re-heat the mixture in the microwave oven at 50% power, and stir until the chocolate stirs smooth. Set both the white and chocolate mixtures aside to cool.

Step 15: Prepare Gelatin

In a small dish, soften 1/2 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin in 1 tablespoon cool water. Set aside for 3 minutes. Spoon jelled mixture into a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until it is melted and clear.

Step 16: Add Gelatin

Stir 1/2 of the melted gelatin into each bowl of whipped cream. Fold one bowl of gelatin-cream into the chocolate cream and the other bowl of gelatin-cream into the white chocolate cream.

Step 17: Make the Chocolate Whipped Cream

Add 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar to the mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for 4-5 minutes, or until stiff peaks form.

Step 18: Build the Cups!

Scoop a mound of chocolate mousse into each chocolate cup, filling each halfway.

Step 19: Add White Chocolate Mousse

Scoop a mound of white chocolate mousse over the chocolate mousse, filling each to the top of the cup.

Step 20: Mound Chocolate Whipped Cream

Scoop a mound of chocolate whipped cream over the white chocolate mousse on each cup.

Step 21: Add Crushed Cookies!

Mound the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies in the center of the chocolate whipped cream.

Step 22: Add Chocolate Petals

Finally press the milk chocolate petals into the back of each filled cup. These serve as a yummy edible spoon.

Step 23: Rich, Creamy, Chocolaty!

And here they are, finished and ready to enjoy! Be ready to be wowed by each and every chocolaty bite! The combination of chocolate textures is amazing and you will feel like you have gone to Chocolate Heaven!!!
