Introduction: $9 Rotating Clothes Rack

Anytime I can get yelled at less around the house is a win!

Here's a quick and cheap clothes rack for behind a door, or wherever. total cost: $9.87.

It took me about 15 minutes start to finish, using shop tools at http://www.makerplace.com

You can add as many rungs as you'd like, I did nine.

MATERIALS/TOOLS
20ft. of 1/2" pvc pipe
2 1/2" pvc end caps
1/2" pvc Tees (1 per rung you'd like)
3/4" pipe straps
Drill
7/8" drill bit

First step is to drill out the stop out of each 1/2" Tee, so the T will then slide freely on a piece of 1/2" pvc pipe. Clamp the Tee then using 7/8" bit slowly drill out the middle stop from each Tee.

Slide all the Tee's onto a length of the 1/2" pvc pipe, mine wound up being 29.5" tall, be sure to leave enough space for caps and clamps.

Next cut each rung to desired length, I did 16" each, then stick em into the Tee's.

Add an end cap to top and bottom, and clamp the whole contraption to the door/ wall using 3 clamps.

Bam! One less thing to get in trouble for around the house!
