Introduction: Agar Agar + Coffee = Yummy

First you will need to find some where to buy Agar Agar powder sweetend or unsweet depending on what you like. I picked mine up at Hong Kong market for $ 1.79 a box. You are also going to need 1 large heat safe mesuring cup, coffee, water, a medium size pot, a whisk, molds of some sort and the optional items sugar, creamer of your choice and whip cream.

Step 1:

This is the sweetened brand I picked up.

Step 2:

Get your coffee pot ready

Step 3:

add 8-10 teaspoons of coffee..

Step 4:

add 6 cups of water to the coffee maker or fill it up to the 10 line on the pot thats about 6 cups

Step 5:

Brew coffee

Step 6:

add coffee to pot and bring to a low boil. The agar agar is sweet but I add another cup and a half of sugar. The addition of sugar and creamer is up to your taste.

Step 7:

here are the instructions on the back of the box I used to follow. I used coffee insted of water if thats not already obvious.. I also added sugar and hazelnut creamer to mine

when the coffee comes to a boil dissolve sugar optional add creamer optional and stir next add the Agar Agar and whisk for 1 minute assure everything is dessolved or it will come out grainy..

Step 10:

pour mixture into a heat safe large mesuring cup over the sink!!!

Step 11:

add to any type of mold..

Step 12:

now in the fridge for 2-4 hrs..

Step 13:

remove from fridge and cut to desired shapes and sizes.

Step 14:

add to desired eatting platform I used a wine glass. I know that glass is not all the way full but there is about a cup and a half of coffee in there and I didnt want to be up all night. As you can see I added whip cream to mine to give it even more goodness... Lastly enjoy your creation..
