Introduction: Awesome Duct Tape Wallet!!!

OK, I was thinking of creating an Instructable, and when I saw the Dadcando family contest I remembered the duct tape wallets I always used to make for family members, including my dad, and I even got my brother into them. They can be made in a short amount of time and only take a few materials to make. This is why I decided to make an Instructable on duct tape wallets that is easy to understand, because I was looking on the website and found no good Instructables on the wallets. Please vote for my Instructable if you like it for the Dadcando contest, it would be greatly appreciated.

Step 1: Step 1: Getting Materials

The only materials you will be needing are duct tape that is either normal or colored (I prefer colored because it makes it look a lot cooler) pair of scissors, a dollar bill, and a library card or school card. You might also need a plastic bag if you want to make a card slot that is clear so you can see it.

Step 2: Step 2: Making the Duct Tape Sheet

The duct tape sheet is just lots of strips of duct tape put together on both sides to make a kind of sheet. You will later use this to cut out pieces for your wallet. Make it with about five strips that are one foot or so in length. Use any color your heart desires, or even make it several colors! The press it between two books to get it to fold in the middle.

Step 3: Step 3: Cutting Out the Main Pieces

There are two pieces that you use to make the actual wallet, shown below. Cut these pieces out of the sheet of duct tape you just made. Make sure you make it large enough by placing a dollar bill on it to measure it out. Make sure you make it a bit larger so that the credit card pockets will fit on it too. Then tape the two sides together on the sides and the bottom. The press it between two books to get it to fold in the middle.

Step 4: Step 4: Cutting Out the Pockets

Cut the pockets out the same way as the last step, just use credit cards as the template instead. Make sure they fit on your wallet first, or you will have wasted your fabric for nothing. Then tap them on wherever you want. If you want to make a clear card slot, just use a credit card as a template against a plastic bag and tape it on like the other pockets.

Step 5: Step 5: Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are now done with your duct tape wallet, feel free to make it as you please, my ideas are just here as a reference. If you have any other cool ideas, post them in the comments and I will edit them in to this Instructable. Please rate and comment on this post, as I would like to know how I did, and feel free to vote for this post in the Dadcando contest.  I Hope you liked my Instructable!!!
