In these Instructables, I want to share with you, how I did my basket bouquet with paper flowers.
Gerbera Daisy flowers and baskets are made out of crepe papers and newspapers.
Let's start to make it.

Supplies

- newspapers (a lot),
- long toothpick Stick(or) thin gauge wire,
- round basket,
- floral wire,
- floral tape,
- threads,
- crepe papers(various colours),
- A4 green colour paper(2),
- thermocols,
- cardboard,
- scissors,
- glue,
- Pencil and scale.

Step 1: PAPERS

Cut newspapers 24.5×8.5cm in dimensions, nearly 150+ papers are needed to basket weaving.

Step 2: PAPER TUBES

Convert these papers into tubes by using a long toothpick stick(or) thin gauge wire,

Step 3: CUT BOTH ENDS OF SOFT PAPER ON TUBES

Cut both ends of soft paper on tubes, slightly inclined

Step 4: PAPER OSIERS

A small Eurasian Willow which grows mostly in wet habitats, it is usually coppiced, being a major source of the long flexible shoots(withies) used in basket work.
Connect these tubes lengthwise(max 3 tubes)snd make paper osiers.

Step 5: BASKET-BASE WEAVING

— Make a cross (+) shape by urging paper osiers,
— Start with half-folded paper osiers on any side of the cross and start weaving,
— weave under and over method,
— Join paper osiers at the end of completed weaving osiers by glue,
— After completing 3 rounds of weaving convert cross shape(+) into multiplication shape(×) by splitting paper osiers and continue weaving,
— Join paper osiers at the end of completing paper osiers by glue,
— Continue the under and over the method of weaving.

Step 6: ATTACH MODEL BASKET

After completing base weaving, attach the round-shaped basket to the base.

Step 7: CONTINUE BASKET WEAVING

Then continue your weaving about the model basket.

Step 8: BASKET WEAVING COMPLETED

After weaving reached the height of the model basket, stop weaving and remove the model basket.
Remove excess tubes on the upper end of the basket, fold them and join them with the basket By glue.

Step 9: BASKET HANDLE BEGINNING SETUP

— Use thin wire, and insert with paper tubes,
— Join 4 paper tubes at one end of the handle with the help of glue (or) threads.

Step 10: HANDLE TWISTING

— Twist that 4 tubes over the thin wire,
— Join paper tubes at the end of the completed twisted tubes and continue twisting until 70cm is reached.

Step 11: ATTACH HANDLE WITH BASKET

After completing handle twisting, attach with a basket by threads.

Step 12: STEMS MAKING

— Cut newspapers of 24.5×8.5cm (2 pieces),
— convert them into paper tubes with a long toothpick stick (or) thin gauge wire.
— Remove both ends of soft paper on tubes.

Step 13: GERBERA DAISY FLOWERS-PEDALS

— use 9×6cm (3 pieces) of various colours Of crepe paper to do pedals of Gerbera Daisy flowers.

Step 14: STAMEN AND PISTILS MAKING

— Take 60×8cm crepe paper and fold it in half (60×4cm).
— Mark half a Line(2cm) from the top,
— Then make half lengthwise cut.

Step 15: SEPALS MAKING

— Take 6×6cm green colour crepe paper.
— Cut triangular edges to 1cm from the top.

Step 16: LEAVES MAKING

— Take 3×6cm(2 pieces) of green colour paper,
— Glue it together with an 8cm length floral wire in the middle,
— Then make a curvy cut on it and form a leaf shape.

Step 17: FORMING FLOWERS (SINGLE FLOWER EXPLAINED)

— Join stamen and pistils with stem by glue,
— Then glue 3 petals one by one, over the stamen and pistils,
— Then glue sepals over petals and also cover stamen and pistils,
— Then cover all parts with floral tape,
— Finally, add leaves.

Step 18: THERMOCOL FLORAL BRICKS MAKING AND ATTACHING WITH BASKET

— Cut thermocols, cardboard, and A4 green colour paper (2) in diameter of the basket base,
— First, attach the cardboard to the basket,
— Then attach thermocols over cardboard,
— Finally, glue the green colour paper over thermocols,
— Thermocols are light in weight and perfectly suits for baskets and act as floral bricks.

Step 19: FLOWERS ARRANGEMENT

Arrange flowers in a basket.

Step 20: MARGIN LEAVES MAKING

— Cut papers in 12×8.5cm dimensions,
— Convert it into tubes,
— Cut green colour crepe paper in 3×12cm dimensions,
— Curl it like a leaf,
— Glue both leaf and tube,
— Cover fully with floral tape.
