Introduction: BISSAP JUICE ( Iced Hibiscus Tea)

Hibiscus sabdariffa or Guinea sorrel is a herbaceous plant of the Malvaceae family  which grows in tropical areas, particularly in Senegal and West Africa. This plant is also known in Egypt and Mexico where it is called Jamaica flor.
The karkadé or Hibiscus is the drink prepared from hibiscus flowers with red flowers.

Step 1: FOR 2 or 3 PEOPLE

ingredients :

- hibiscus leaves

- sugar

- water 

Step 2:

For 2 or 3 people take 3 handfuls of hibiscus leaves put them in a bowl

Step 3:

Pour cold water in the bowl and wash them three times in order to remove the dirt

Step 4:

Put 1/2 litre of water in a saucepan and heat over high heat 

Step 5:

2 minutes later add the hibiscus leaves to the saucepan

Step 6:

When the water boils take it off the heat and pour the hibiscus juice into a bowl

Step 7:

Take hibiscus leaves and wring them out in a bowl

Step 8:

At the end you add as much sugar as you like 

Step 9:

Put the hibiscus leaves in a bottle shake it and put it in the refrigerator 



                                                                                                                     Serve chilled
