Babyproof Usb

This is an idea I had after a friend of mine had an accident with his laptop and his baby boy. I hate the usb devices that are too big but do not have an extension cable and are always in the way,especially on laptops.. Its an accident waiting to happen..In my case the Ethernet port was damaged when the cable was pulled brutally by accident.So a USB to Ethernet was used but this is way too big to "hang"out of a laptop and so the inevitable happened.. 

Step 1: Soldering

So I only had to solder a cable from the broken adapter to a new usb plug. The donor of the plug was an old broken flash drive.

Step 2: Final Touches

After the needed test to check that everything is working,some hot glue and heat shrink tubing..
