Basket Made With Recycled Silk Yarn

I made this basket from recycled silk yarn in the style of a pine needle basket. I cut the yarn into lengths of three inches and then joined them together in clumps with a weaving yarn.

The basket measures about 6 inches across and 3 inches deep.

My cockatoo Gwen thinks it is a great toy because she can grab it and throw it around.
