Introduction: Better Than Chili's Skillet Brownie

An amazingly easy dessert that will impress everyone with its heartwarming flavor. This recipe can be made with or without a skillet.

Step 1: Ingredient Gathering and Prep

Ingredients:

Brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on package)

1/2 c Ghirardelli 60% cacao chocolate chips

1/2 c. butter

1/3 c. sugar

1 T. cinnamon

vanilla ice cream

caramel and chocolate sauce

Mix brownies according to package. Add chocolate chips to batter and stir. Set aside.

In a separate bowl combine sugar and cinnamon and mix together.

Step 2: Option 1 (baking With a Personal Skillet)

Over a medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter in the skillet. Add 1 tablespoon of the sugar mixture and stir into melted butter. Remove from heat. Pour in 1/2 c brownie batter. Repeat with remaining skillets. Average brownie mix makes 6 skillets. Bake in oven at 325°F for 15-18 minutes or until brownies are set. Do not over bake. They will continue to cook a little after removing from oven since the pans retain the heat. Remove from oven and cool for 5-10 minutes. Scoop ice cream on top and serve with caramel and chocolate drizzle. Enjoy right away!

Step 3: Option 2 (without Cast Iron Skillet)

Bake brownie batter according to package directions in a baking pan. Cool and cut into squares.

In any sort of frying pan heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon sugar mixture for each brownie. If making several in one pan increase butter and sugar. Heat until butter is sizzling then place brownie in hot butter. Remove from heat. This is best served straight from the pan, but if you transfer to a serving dish make sure to add some of the melted butter to each serving. Add ice cream and caramel and chocolate sauce. Serve immediately.
