In this i'll show you how to make Can lid chains.

Very easy, and good for wasting time. :D

Step 1: Ingredients

To make a can lid chain all you need is:

   Empty drinking cans
   Scissors
   Keyring ring
   Time
   And soem Boredom

Step 2: Base of Chain

easy really.

just get your keyring ring and 4 caps(uncut).

once you have the 4 caps apply them like in the picture. so 2 are facing one way and the other 2 are facing the other. this way you wont be able to see the underneath of the cap.

important: each link must have 4 caps.

Step 3: Cutting the Caps

cutting the caps is easy.

get a cap.

get the scissors.

cut the SMALLER end of the cap.

once cut, it should look some what like the picture.

Step 4: Making Chain

applying the cut cap to the chain is the same as step 2.

all 4 are facing out of the center.

Step 5: Repeat

now Repeat steps 3 and 4.

Step 6: Finished Chain

my main chain has 40 links or 160 caps and my smaller one i just started has 8 and a half links.

these chains are rather stylish and can be any length you want them to be!!
