If you are a Captain America fan, this ones for you!

I'll be sharing with you guys how to make your own 3d case with a pop-out shield.

It's a simple build that blends in the pop-socket with the cover and does not make it feel like its an extra accessory.

It's cheap to build and does not require any special skills or techniques.

Step 1: Materials

All you need is one pop-socket with the image of Captain's shield, they are quite cheap and easy to find online.

Step 2: Designing the Cover

If you like the photo from the previous step and don't want to modify it, feel free to skip this step.

But if you want to modify the image, personalize it, or just remove the words, just download the photoshop file given below and do as you will.

Step 3: Personalized Cover

There are many sites that allow you to print your own personised cover, depending on your phone, choose the appropriate model, and use the image given in the previous steps. Simply Google "custom back cover" or "personalized phone case" and you shall get a variety of sites to choose from.

(I am not giving any site links as their phone model ranges vary from country to country)

Here are a few things to take note of:

1. Make sure the image is perfectly aligned to the center, a slight shift to the left or right shall ruin the whole experience. (otherwise, pop-socket shall create wobble )

2. Make use the material of the cover is not rubber, the pop-socket might not stick to it.

3. The shield in the image should not cover any holes on the backside of your phone( camera or microphone) the pop-socket shall be stuck on that later on

Step 4: Finishing the Project

Simply stick the pop-socket to the shield in the image which has been printed on the back of your phone cover and make sure that its stuck right in the middle of the cover so that it can be used as a phone stand.
