Introduction: Cardboard Aquarium

About: "Every child is born blessed with a vivid imagination. But just as a muscle grows flabby with disuse, so the bright imagination of a child pales in later years if he ceases to exercise it" is one of my favorit…

We used a bicycle box to make an aquarium for a fishing game. Fishing rods with magnets and fish made out of cardboard made this a lot of fun.

Step 1: Cutting and Painting

Here is my daughter and I cutting and painting the cardboard aquarium.

Step 2: Play Time

Here are the children playing my fishing game. They made all the fish with magnets for eyes. I added some sharks with larger magnets that made them lose their fish that they had caught. We added some characters on strings to complicate game play further. Playful chaos ensured.

Step 3: Snacks

Afterwards we made themed snacks.
