Having a caterpillar is fun! You can look after it and watch it grow, give it leaves, watch it metamorph into a butterfly, and let it fly! But you should have a house for it. As one of a caterpillar owner, I tell you how to make your own caterpillar house!

Step 1: Materials

All you need is an empty glass jar, a rubber band, some leaves for your caterpillar, a caterpillar (of course) and a gauze.

Step 2: Put the Caterpillar and Leaves

The first thing to do is put the caterpillar in the jar. Then, put another leaves in it.

Step 3: Place the Gauze

Place the gauze on the mouth of the jar.

Step 4: Yay!

Now, put the rubber band around the neck of the jar, and DONE! Now your caterpillar have a cozy house, and you have a caterpillar farm! You can keep it in the house, too!
