Heyo and welcome to my christmas tree charm tutorial! This is an original design of mine, and I think it's a cute charm! When you have your materials, go to Step One!

Step 1: Placing Bands

Take a yellow and a white band. This will be the star. Place them on the top middle pegs of your loom. Place green bands (all will be doubled) down on the left and on the right. Place green bands down five times on each row. Place green bands down again on the right and left. Place double brown bands down twice.

Step 2: Connector Bands and Cap Bands

Place four connector bands up the loom. Then take a brown band, wrap it around your fingers to make two loops, and then put it on the loom. Take eight of your color choice bands (these will be the ornaments) and wrap them twice around your fingers, and put them on the connector bands on each side. To loop them over, we'll pull the connector band through the ornament band, lift the ornament band off the loom, slide it towards the middle peg, and put the connector band back on the loom peg. Repeat on the other ornament bands.

Step 3: Hooking Bands

Go under the cap band and pull the brown bands over onto the next peg up. Continue hooking as shown in the pictures.

Step 4: Slip Knot and Removal

Make a slip knot by putting your hook through the star bands, pulling your last color choice band through it, putting the bottom loop on your hook, and pulling the right loop off the hook. Remove your tree from the loom.

Step 5: (Optional) Lights

For the lights, take two black bands and tie them together. Wrap a yellow band around your hook four times and loop it over onto the black bands. Keep tying the black bands and looping the yellow until you have used all your bands.
