I ever wanted to watch movies in my home like in a paid cinema session. But I'm not rich, so I've got a modest set of computer speakers (2 normal + 1 subwoofer), a sofa and a normal TV of 32".

Do you want to turn the boring sound of your TV speakers in an amazing "3D" Home Cinema? This is an easy but powerful way to "live" your movies.

Step 1: Materials

For this little project you'll need:

A set of minimum 2 normal speakers and a subwoofer.
A quality audio source. A bad audio source will ruin your experience.
A sofa, but with space inside or below it to put the subwoofer.
If the distance between the sofa and the audio source is long, use an extension to connect the speakers.

Step 2: Put the Speakers

Put the small speakers in the correct order and place. If you sit on the sofa, you should be able to hear the left speaker through your left ear, and the same with the right speaker and ear.

This way, you're going to sense better the environment effects, and dialogues will be like the characters are in front of you.

Step 3: Fit the Subwoofer

Now it's time to fit the subwoofer. It will provide you a realistic experience in exciting moments like explosions or deep sounds in a suspense scene.

You can put it where you want, but I recommend, if possible, under, inside or behind the sofa. Also set a reasonable bass intensity to not be deaf. But if you love industrial quantities of bass, turn it up.
