About: I need more space for my projects, my garage is packed. I like to make things, I've always got a project on the go.
I needed a trestle to hold a plank whilst painting outside my house. I wasn't ready to for out $300 a trestle for an aluminium set when I had a heap of steel in my scrap pile. I understand that these are far heavier than the aluminium ones but they only cost an hour of my time and carrying them around could only be good for my upper body strength.
Step 1: How To
Ingredients:
- 8m length 40x40x1.6 or 2.0 mm SHS steel tube ( nothing stopping you using aluminium if you are able to weld it )
- welder
- drop saw
- plastic push in feet
- weld on hinges
