Introduction: DIY Shoebox Treasure Box

Hi, Its Taylor again. This is project #2 out of 50. My next project will be a shoebox ribbon holder. Be sure to check it out!!

Step 1: Items You Will Need

  • a shoebox
  • paintbrushes
  • scissors
  • craft glue
  • assorted craft materials
    • paint glitter glue or puffy paint
    • printed scrapbook paper. old magazines, or photos
    • stickers, stencils, or rhinestones
    • buttons or beads

Step 2: Decorating Your Box

When I was decorating my box, I decided to use paint, so that I could see how long it took. It took about 3 hours to dry after I added all the layers, but you can also use fabric with is quicker.

Step 3: More Decorating

After the paint dries or you finish putting your fabric, decorate it the way you want. You can use scrapbook paper, rhinestones, or/and ribbon.

Step 4: Using Your Treasure Box

After you have finished decorating your treasure box, USE IT! Test it out, see who you like it and change anything that you don't like. :)
