Learn how to make these Sock Snowmen with Annelise and Julia. They look adorable sitting on a table or hanging on your Christmas tree. Happy Crafting!

You will need:

White crew socks

Rice or other filler (beans, pillow stuffing, tissue paper, cloth/yarn scraps, etc.)

Buttons

Head pins (or quilt pins) with black & yellow ball ends - can also use small black & yellow buttons

Strips of cloth to make the scarf - we used fleece because it will not fray

Scissors

Rubber bands

Mod Podge or craft glue (can also use hot glue but it is easier to use craft glue to apply head pins)

*Tips: You can use whatever filler you have on hand but if you want the snowman to stand up on a hard surface, you’ll need a heavier filler like rice or beans. You can also add a heavier material to the bottom of the snowman and fill the rest with something lighter so that it will stand. If you choose to hang your snowman, rice or beans is not best because it will make the snowman heavy. Another option is to fill your snowman with baking soda to make an extra-cute freezer/refrigerator deodorizer. Whatever filler you choose, these snowmen make terrific gifts!
