Sofas are common furniture, but are pricy and bulky. Today I will show you how to make your own DIY sofa that is extremely cheap( around £5 - £20).

Step 1: Sofa Base

First, we need to build the base of the sofa. To do this we need the thickest pillows and place them on a flat surface.

Step 2: Backing Support

For the backing, we need a support to hold our backs. To do this, put some old boxes between the back of the base and the wall. Make sure the boxes are piled as high as your backing cushion and the support is very firm and will not bend/squash easily.

Step 3: Backing Cushions

Now, we need to add the backing to rest our tired backs. Get your backing cushions and place them vertically or diagonally(for a bed type sofa)on the backing support like in the image.
