How to Draw a Car

Step 1: Start.

In this first step draw a total of five lines that are going to go across your sheet of paper. Then draw two lines that are going to go down your page. All positioned the way you see them here. This is going to form a guide to position the car when drawing it out.

Step 2: Step 2

Next using the lines you drew in step 1, draw out the outline of the beamer as shown. When you are drawing out the shape of the car start at the bottom of the windshield and work your way up. Next draw in the two tires and the holes for the fog lights.

Step 3: Step 3

This is the step where it starts to get hard and you really need a steady hand. Draw out all the lining that is spread out along the cars frame as you can see. Draw the windows, doors, headlights, fog lights, outlining for the rims and all until your sketch looks similar to the one you are using as a reference

Step 4: Step 4

Next you will be detailing the rims lights door handles and windows side mirror and tires. After you finish off detailing the BMW you can go ahead and clean up your sketch by erasing any visible guidelines that yo drew in step 1. But before you move down to the next step, make sure your sketch of this car looks portioned and clean.

Step 5: Done.

When you are done this is what you should end up with. That came out nice right. Now all you have to do is color it in your very own unique color.
