Easter was coming up at the time, and I wanted to make some fun decorations that were easy and did not take very long to make. So I thought of these hand-drawn eggs, and was very pleased with the result. I hope you are pleased with them too, enjoy!

Step 1: Materials

You'll need these items;

Egg(s)

Sharpies (colors of your choice)

Nail file (if needed, you'll see later on)

Metal skewer

Optional;

Some kind of sealer or protective coat, to brush over design

Paint brush

Step 2: Take Off the Ink and Blow Out the Egg

If your egg has one of those ink brand icons, you can just use a nail file to get it off. Just be gentle! You don't want to break your egg. Now you want to find a skewer, preferably metal, and lightly tap on the end of the egg. After a little while you will hear a different pitch of sound when you continue tapping that spot, that means you'll go through it's surface soon. Try to keep the hole a little small. Then when you finish that side (either top or bottom) do the opposite side. After you have finished that, put your mouth over one of the holes and blow fairly hard. Eventually, everything will just come out and you'll feel light headed :O (: Next, just rinse it off with some water and dry it off. Don't worry about stuff rotting in it, because the holes in the top and bottom will help dry it out.

Step 3: Draw Your Design

Now it's time to be creative! I draw a lot, so I just copied a few of my own abstract drawings onto the egg. If you don't want to or can't come up with some kind of design you can always get ideas of Google or something, I do it all the time :) I like to always start with black and finish the outline of the design then color it in, but feel free to do it however you want.

Step 4: Then Color in Your Design

Next, choose what colors you would like to put in your design. You can now be done if you want, but if you want some protection on the design, you can just use some kind of sealer to brush onto the egg.

Step 5: Done!

Now you can put your eggs wherever you want and give yourself a pat on the back! Or you can always give them as gifts too! Thank you so much for taking a look and I hoped you enjoyed this instructable :)
