Introduction: Easy Three Step Cheddar Bacon Ranch Bread

Hey everybody!  I thought I would share my recipe for Cheddar Bacon Ranch Bread.  I can't take credit for this recipe because it is a variation of the recipe available from Betty Crocker.

The ingredients are simple and cheap...

1 Unsliced Loaf of Bread
5 oz or One half bag of Mild Cheddar Cheese (or Sharp if your taste prefers)
1.5 oz or One half of a Package of Real Bacon Bits
1/2 cup or 1 Stick of Margarine
1 tablespoon of Ranch Dressing Mix

As compared to the recipe from the Betty Crocker site, this recipe allows you to use any type of bread and is not as loaded down with toppings mine is geared to my individual taste.

Step 1: Step 1 Prepare the Bread

Preparing the bread is easy you are just going to slice straight through, but don't cut the bottom crust.  You want the bottom to hold the whole thing together.  As you look at the pictures of my variation below you will see that in the final picture I have cut the heels off and placed them under the center of the bread to help open up the cuts to allow the toppings to fill the bread.

Step 2: Step 2 - It Is Toppings Time

Okay the toppings here are straight forward, Cheddar, Bacon, and Ranch Seasoning mixed in Melted butter...
This can be made with out the ranch seasoning for those who do not care for ranch, say a picky sister in law...

Step 3: Step 3 Bake Then Eat

The final step is to wrap the loaf in aluminium foil and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, unwrap the loaf and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp.
