Ebook Reader Tolino Vision - Battery Replacement

The video shows how to easily replace battery from an ebook reader Tolino Vision 2.

In my experience that procedure is applicable also to Vision 3HD and Shine 2HD.

step 1

disassembly of the body with lever tool or your nail. start from bottom corner.

step 2

remove glue from battery connector.

step 3

wear proctective glasses and gloves to remove the old battery. the original battery is attached by double-sided tape to the back side of the screen. use some thin plastic tool to leverage.

step 4

apply some double-sided tape then the new battery. connect the cable and put a drop of silicone glue on to PCB battery connector.

Batteries are easily available on ebay and the same model can be used on the above mentioned readers. Not on Shine 1 because has a different PCB connector.
