Challenge: Face Off!

Facing the world-

Two brothers take up their tools to carve the best face on their pumpkins.

One preferring to showcase a happy and mad face all on one head. The other cutting to the disgrace of having mud on your face!

Step 1: Prepare Your Pumpkin:

Cut the top out by sawing at an angle so that the top doesn't fall in but rests on the inner flesh of the pumpkin.

Step 2: Scrape Out the Guts:

Using spoons, scoops or small plastic bowls scrape out the inside seeds. Optional: save the seeds and toast for a snack. This certainly makes a happy face.

Step 3: Face:

Cut and score the outer shell of the pumpkin into a face of your own creation.

Step 4: Light Up Those Smiles/frowns:

Insert a light source - candles, battery operated lights, flashlights - inside of pumpkin and replace lid. Place at door to welcome all your Halloween guests! Sound effects are also recommended...
