Introduction: Fondue

This is isn't your traditional fondue but this is how we get our fondue on!

Step 1: The Goods

You will need
  • Big 2lb brick of Velveeta cheese
  • Large jar of Pace Picante sauce ( heat style is up to you)
  • Veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, whatever else tickles your fancy
  • Corn chips or crackers
  • Summer sausage or Ham cut into chunks

Step 2: Cheese It Up!

In either a crock pot or a stock pot dump in your salsa, on a medium low heat is probably best. If you do it in a crock pot it will take longer than over the stove. However the crock pot has more convenience. For me it all depends on my mood and time. Next cube up your brick of cheese and then add that to the pot as well. Now you just have to wait for it to melt together. Remember to check and stir it often so that your cheese isn't burning on the bottom.

Step 3: Veggie, Meat, Chips

While your cheese is getting all bubbly and gooey start chopping up those veggies and meats! Toughest step of all open that bag of chips;) Present nicely on some sort of platter or just wing it. Almost there, I promise you will love it.

P.S. Check on that cheese

Step 4: Time to Food Up

Now that everything is ready to go it is time to dig in. Grab a plate and fill it with all those yummy veggies, meats, and chips as well as a heaping side of hot gooey cheesy goodness and let the dipping begin!
