Free Battery Charger

So my garden light failed and I wanted to salvage as much as possible.

Supplies

Old garden light
Old rechargeable batter
A diode
Wire

Step 1: Step 1

Wire the circuit, use any diode as shown in schematic.

Step 2: Step 2

Re use solar panel from bad solar light. Tie down the wires so they don't came off the solar panel.

Step 3: Step 3

Use rechargeable battery 4 volts DC, I would think it will work with any rechargeable battery from 1 to 4 volts. I still need to test it for voltages other than 4 volts

Step 4: Step 4

Assemble and put outside to charge and recharge your batteries.
