Introduction: Fried Watermelon

A quick and easy recipe for fried watermelon

Step 1: All Instructions in the Video

All Instructions in the video but if you want to print out the detailed recipe check out the next steps.

Step 2: What We Need

1. Watermelon

2. Icing sugar

3. Strawberries

4. A can of whipped cream

5. Cooking oil

6. Frying pan

7.20 minutes of your precious time

Step 3: Get Your Pan Ready for Frying

Heat up your frying pan and add a few drops of cooking/frying oil. Remember that I used too much in the video, so just a few drops not more. Watermelon is full of water so it is quite hard to burn it. Spread the oil evenly on the frying pan, you can use a brush to get thin even layer of oil.

Slice your watermelon, the thicker the slices the longer frying. So you will get your favorite thickness after a few trials. I like them to be quite thick but it's up to you to decide.

Step 4: Frying

It's hight time we loaded the frying pan with watermelon slices. Heat them up for a minute or 2. Apply a small flat spoon of icing sugar on the slices and wait for it to dissolve in the watermelon. Flip the slices on the other side and repeat the process. They have to take sugar form both sides. Remember not to overuse sugar as I did in the video ;) but again it's up to your taste. I would strongly recommend only small flat spoon of icing sugar on both sides.

Flip the slices every one or two minutes to get them even on both sides. Repeat the process for about 5 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of your slices.

Step 5: O.K. the Dish Is Ready

All we need to do now is to get the whipped cream and cover the top of each slice. Add strawberries for even better consumption experience.

I know, I know the dish should look like the one in the first picture but my masterpiece is a bit burnt....

If you encounter the same problem use loads of whipped cream and your guests should not notice any problems.

THE TASTE.....

Oh yeah, it tastes fully good OMG I did not expect it to be so good.

Final advice :

Little cooking/frying oil, little sugar, loads of whipped cream and you should win the day!!!!!
