Introduction: Delicious Frosted Chocolate Cake for Every Occasion

This delicious yet really simple chocolate cake is perfect for any occasion (especially if you want to start from scratch)...Enjoy!!

Step 1: Ingredients:

You will need:

- 3/4 cups of (softened) butter

- 3 eggs

- 2 cups of sugar

- 2 cups of flour

- 1 teaspoon of baking powder

- 3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 1/2 cups of milk

- 2 teaspoons of vanilla

- Frosting (bought or made)

- Sprinkles

Step 2: Getting Ready...

Start by gathering all your ingredients. Once you have done that, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle the cake pans with flour and butter.

Step 3: Mixing...

Take out the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and baking soda. Put them together in a bowl and mix them together.

Put the end product aside. In another (large) bowl, beat the butter, eggs and vanilla. Add sugar gradually while mixing on a regular speed for about 3 to 4 minutes until it is well blended.

Combine (alternately) the flour mixture and the milk batter while beating. Continue to beat it until the batter is nice and smooth.

Step 4: Cooking...

Pour equal amounts of the mixture into the cake pans and bake in the pre-heated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. After the time has passed, check if it is cooked by poking it with a toothpick. Bake the cakes some more if needed.

Remove them from the oven and let them cool down...

Step 5: Frosting...

Take the frosting and put it on one of the cakes. Then, place the other one on top of it. Take the frosting and play with it and decorate the cake with sprinkles how you want!
