If you're in need of a way to hold fruit, this is the solution for you.

Step 1: Gather the Necessary Materials and Tools

Material: 3 lengths .125" Galvanized Steel Wire, Fruit (optional)

Tools: Wire Cutters, Soldering Torch, Solder, Clips or Spring Clamp, Magnets, Spray Paint (optional)

Time: 1 - 2 Hours

Skill Level: Medium

Step 2: Bend

Bend concentric octagons by scaling the octagon file size in DIWireWare. We tried 100%, 125% and 150%.

Step 3: Bend and Trim

Make sure ends of bent arms are all clipped to similar lengths.

Step 4: Solder

We soldered the first seam with two arms laid flat on the same plane.

Step 5: Finish Soldering

You can then prop the arms up and clip all four together to finish soldering. Once the solder cools, flip the base right-side-up and rest the smallest octagon on the arms. Solder all four joints and repeat with the larger ones.
