Introduction: GTA a Whole New Level of Entertainment

One of the things that I really love about playing GTA since it started with Vice City is its soundtrack. Personally, I am addicted listening to music and that makes playing the newest GTA game, Grand Theft Auto V, even more enjoyable for me. This seems like a good a time to talk about the music that can be found in the base game. There are sixteen radio stations to choose from as you are driving or flying around --- everything from old school, rap, classics to newer stuff, and hard rock. What it really needs though is more 80’s. I am hoping that the next game takes us back to Vice City. I hope they cross license it with the Transformers; there from the 80's and it will be fun to drive.

I know that GTA games are heavily inspired by movies like Scarface. Grand Theft Auto V, however, seems to come straight out of Michael Mann's film Heat, where the game cleverly gives you control of multiple characters something the series really needed. This time around you will be playing as Michael, an ex bank robber facing a mid-life crisis, and Franklin a young gangster on the rise. But my favorite is got to be Trevor who is a complete maniac. The relationship between the three characters gives the storyline and the game much needed diversity. Not only do they each have their own personality and wonderfully delivered dialogue, great acting in this game. But they have also each got their own skills and you have level them up independently to make them stronger faster crazier and most importantly you can switch between them pretty much whenever you want.

I think this game improves on a lot of the things that needed to be improved from GTA 4. There are just more to do so you can play the game in one of several different ways. You can enjoy the storyline or you could just drive and fly around like a crazy person which is what I like to do. You can also just live another life in the game. I am not sure that is healthy though also your friends might miss you. Did mention it has el Caminos? As for my personal take on the game I would wonderfully give this a 9 out of 10.
