Introduction: Gluten Free Parmesan Snacks

About: Hi! I'm a brazilian veterinary that loves to reuse thinks and create pieces that use seeds, paper and plants from my region ;) I also like to cook and of course eat new stuff, all meat free! :p

I have discovered the wonders of a gluten-free diet! that's why I'm passing you this snack, which goes very well with some drinks and which I particularly like to eat alone :)

Supplies

silicone mat

bowl

silicone brush

metallic cutter or knife

rolling pin

---

all-purpose gluten-free flour

butter

milk

sugar

grated parmesan

salt

chemical yeast

milk to pass on the dough

Step 1: Making the Dough

500g all-purpose gluten-free flour

122 g of butter, room temperature

333 g of milk, room temperature

50 g of sugar

50 g of grated parmesan

2 teaspoons of salt

1/2 tablespoon chemical yeast

----

mix all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, grated parmesan, salt and yeast

then mix the milk and butter, kneading with your hands

Step 2: Using the Dough

when the dough is very homogeneous, separate 1/3 of it and open it with a rolling pin

leave less than 0.5 cm wide - it grows a little in the oven

spread the milk over the open dough (see photo) with a brush

throw the grated cheese on top of this milk and press lightly with your hands, starting to cut the strips of the snack (see photo)

place them all, spaced apart, on a silicone mat or on a baking sheet (see photo) and place in a preheated oven at 120-160°C

leave for 30 - 40 minutes, until you notice it is slightly golden.

remove, let cool and place in a pot or bag to prevent it from wilting.
