Introduction: Good Game to Play
Red Dead Redemption is actually certainly the best Western

In many ways RDR rivals the equally wonderful game Bioshock in terms of story-telling, but RDR ups the ante by giving us a world of reasonable, well written, and also well performed characters.
In case certainly there's one area were RDR stumbles a little bit it's in the optional side-quests. Certainly there are a small number of fun mini-games that you can partake in. Sadly these video games get repetitive fairly rapidly as there just isn't really much variety to be had there. Still, the mini-games are fun, and also apart from loot and reputation accomplishments, there's no requirement to engage in them unless you're a completions or truly enjoy them.
Undead Nightmare is an appreciated follow-up to the main course.
