Introduction: Great Tasting, Gross Looking, Healthy Green Smoothie!

What is a green smoothie you ask? It's simply a fruit smoothie blended with greens. This simple kale green smoothie is a great way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. I promise it is delicious and nutritious!

Step 1: Gather Ingredients

Blender
3-4 large Kale Leafs
1 Orange
1 Banana
1 Lemon
1 Cup Water
1 Cup frozen Strawberries
1 Large Drinking Cup

and one baby's foot ;)

Step 2: Blend Kale

Remove leafs from Kale stem and blend with 1 cup cold water.

Variation:
You may also steam a large batch of kale before blending and add one cup of the blended kale to smoothie and store the rest in freezer or fridge. This minimizes the taste of the kale and is said to add more nutritional value.

Step 3: Blend Remaining Ingredients

Add:
1 peeled banana
Juice of 1 lemon
1 Peeled Orange
1 Cup frozen Strawberries, or more to taste

Variation:
If you use fresh strawberries, add ice. You may also add any other fruit at this point; blueberries, raspberries, ect.

Step 4: Drink Up!
