Introduction: Green Fortune Cookies

"St. Patty's Day Bash"
It's that time a year again, time to display your alcoholism as proudly as the shamrock on your lapel, time to imbibe green libations, and inflict flesh wounds upon the non-conformist Mc Scroodges. That's right, it's St. Patricks day! A celebration of all things green, corned, and some dude from Wales, no not Kathrine Zeta Jones. This episode I'm going to teach you how to throw the most Irishtastic St. Patty's day party ever! Erin go bragh!

Step 1: You're Gonna Need...

two eggs
3 tblspns vegitable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp water
1/2 tsp green fortune coloring
An mixer (manual or electic)
A sifter
And a muffin pan

Step 2: Combine

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Discard yolks or save for a yummy Irish Cream Creme brulee, Add the vanilla and the oil. Beat until frothy but not firm

Add all the dry ingredients, sift flour into bowl, and mix so there're no lumps.

Add the green water, blend.

Keep stirring until the mixture most closely resembles pancake batter

Step 3: Cook

Next, on a well oiled baking sheet, carefully spoon out the cookie batter into circles about 3 inches in diameter. I find 3 discs per tray works best. Place in a 300 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or untill golden brown.

Be sure to keep an eye on your cookies’ progress. I know waiting is boring.

Step 4: Making the Cookies

Now’s the time to extract the cookies from the baking sheet, you must work quickly because the cookies will harden and make folding impossible. Starting from the edges carefully but not slowly loosen the discs from the sheet. Some of you might want to wear gloves, I have tough man hands, so I can bear the fresh form the oven cookie heat. Once freed place the prewritten precut fortune in the middle of the cookie (I've included a list of fortunes in this video's liner notes) fold the edges till they meet, pinch the subsequent edges together, and viola you’ve made a fortune cookie

Step 5: Extra Shot!

Here's another shot of the cookie.

Step 6: Enjoy!!!

Yummy!
