Introduction: Guitar Pedal Board - Under $30

I have been wanting a pedal board for my pedals for a while, but let's face it...I'm cheap and pedal boards are not cheap, so I built me one!

Step 1: Get You Supplies!

First step is to pick up a Bamboo bath mat off of Amazon (I used this one) this wood bath shower mat is designed to step on, and even get wet. Very sturdy and only $26.99 shipped. The dimensions are 22inches X 15inches which was perfect for what I was looking for. If you want a different size, you could search for one, but this tutorial is for the one pictured.

Material List.

1.) Bamboo Bath Mat

2.) Scrap 3/4 inch wood

3.) (15) 1 1/2 screws, (3) 3/4 inch screws

4.) Glue, Drill

Step 2: Cut Your Footings

Cut 3 identical wedge pieces (I used some scrap 3/4 inch cabinet grade plywood I had in the garage), I'm not going to teach carpentry here, but I cut my wedge footings at 14 1/4 inches long, 1/2 inch on the short side to 3 1/2 inches on the tall side.

If you're not comfortable cutting and sawing, seek professional help.

Step 3: Attach Footings

I glued and screwed each footing, I used PowerGrab construction adhesive and drywall screws, the correct length as to not run the screws out of the bottom of the footings. I pre-drilled through the Bamboo mat with an 1/8 inch drill bit, so not to split the Bamboo. The bottom of the original bathmat included 12 Rubber feet attached, I just unscrewed those and attached 9 of them to my footings, see second photo.

Step 4: BOOM - AWESOME PEDAL BOARD
