Introduction: Halloween Monster Making Machine!

This Halloween get creative and create and draw your own monsters! This progect can be very simple or you can take it up a notch and customize it as much as you want.

First, what you will need:
 - Cardboard (Thin; Ex. Cereal Box)
 - Paper
 - Marker
 - Scissors
 - Ruler
 - Pen
 - Hot Glue
 - Clear Tape

Opitional supplies:
 - Colored Paper

Step 1: Step 1

First, Cut a peice of cardboard 9 1/2" by 5 1/2". Then, mark the center (4 3/4") and fold in half. If there are graphics( logos, words, etc.), you will want to fold them in, so they are on the inside.

Step 2: Step 2

Next, we'll mark where we will cut out the windows. I measured in on the sides 1/2". Then, comes the tricky part. From the top, measure in 3/16", down 1 1/16", down 3/16", down 1 1/16", again down 3/16", down 1 1/16", 3/16", and lastly 1 1/16". Connet the dots, then cut out the windows.

Step 3: Step 3

Now, put cardboard where marked.

Step 4: Step 4

Here is where you can make your Monster Making Machine really yours. Paint, cover, or leave as is, it's your decision. I chose to cover mine with construction paper, I adhered it to the cardboard with hot glue.

Also, here is a picture of where you should put glue, once you put on the glue, fold it together and hold till the glue has dried.

Step 5: Step 5

Cut out peices of paper that will fit in the windows. Once you have cut the out draw eyebrows, eyes, noses, and mouths. Be creative, and if they don't turn out the way you wanted them to, redo them or leave them the way they are, monsters aren't supposed to be pretty!

Step 6: Step 6

Cover your monster's facial espressions with clear tape and cut acess tape so they fit in the windows.

Step 7: Step 7

You're almost done! Just fit in some monster facial espressions and draw them.

Extra Ideas:
 - make a pouch on the back of your Monster Making Machine, so you can hold everything together.
 - Instead of making monster faces, write halloween related words on pieces of paper, and make simple phrases and greetings.
