Introduction: Hawaiian Muffins
I made up this idea from just mixing ideas together. The ingredients tasted good together and thus the Hawaiian Muffins were born.
Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients and Tools.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. of Jiffy corn muffin mix
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 2/3 cup crushed pineapple
- non-stick cooking spray
Tools
- hand mixer
- rubber scraper
- muffin tin
- mixing bowl
- measuring cups
Step 2: Prepare the Oven and Pan
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. Next take the muffin pan and coat the inside with the non-stick cooking spray. Set the muffin pan aside.
Step 3: Add Ingredients Together
Put the corn muffin mix, egg and 1/3 cup coconut milk into the mixing bowl.
Step 4: Combine
Using the hand mixer, combine the ingredients from the previous step together. The batter should be thick when you are done.
Step 5: Add the Pineapple
Take the can of crushed pineapple and drain it. Next take 2/3 of the crushed pineapple and add it to the batter. Take the rubber scraper and fold the crushed pineapple into the batter.
Step 6: Bake
Retrieve the muffin pan that you sprayed and put aside earlier. Pour the batter into the muffin pan evenly. Bake the muffins for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Enjoy
Once the muffins are done baking and have cooled, enjoy!
