Introduction: How to Make a Paper Airplane From A4/Letter Size

About: geek and DYI fan

Unlike most paper airplanes who start from square this one works and looks much better when made of A4 or Letter sheet of paper. I have no name for this one, it's inherited from the Stealth. When made well, it flies well and long, but mistakes in the design make it go up and then down.

Step 1: Step 1: Let's Start

Fold the paper exactly on the middle of the long side. Reopen it back.

Step 2: Step 2

Now form the nose by making two diagonal folds on top. Make the ends meet in the center.

Step 3: Step 3

Fold the entire triangle down to the center of the sheet. You'll have something like a square now.

Step 4: Step 4

Two more precise diagonal folds are needed now. Make the ends meet about 1.5 inches from the tirangle bottom.

Step 5: Step 5

Now turn back the small piece of the triangle in a way that it will hold the previous folds.

Step 6: Step 6

Fold the entire airplane to its back using the central crease you did in step 1.

Step 7: Step 7

Use a ruler to form the wings. Note that the fold is diagonal and starts from the middle of the nose to about 2 inches on the tail.

Step 8: Step 8

Use a scissors and make a cut on the tail about 1.5 inches (4cm) from the end.

Step 9: Step 9

Turn the fin to the top and you are all set! Make sure everything is symmetric. This airplane flies best when thrown slowly.
