How to Crochet a Giant Mario Piranha Plant

In this tutorial, you will learn how to crochet a giant version of the Piranha Plant, first seen in the Mario games for Super Nintendo. The completed plant will measure roughly twelve inches wide and nineteen inches from mouth to stem.

For this tutorial, I used a 5mm crochet hook, but you can really use any size; it just depends on how big/small you want it to be and how big/small you would like the holes. Yarn brand also doesn't matter, as long as you have red, white, and green yarn (unless you want to make it different colors).

It should take you no more than five hours to complete the giant Piranha Plant.
