‘Tis the season to decorate your home for the holidays! Follow this Instructable to make your own ornament inspired by the Glowbes from My Singing Monsters. Then use your ornament to deck the halls, or even gift it to a friend!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

To create your own Glowbe ornament, you will need the following materials:

Round ornament in your favorite Glowbe color
Pipe cleaners in a matching color
Two pom-poms in a matching color
Large googly eye
Pair of scissors
Hot glue gun
Optional: Ribbon for hanging your ornament

Be careful with your scissors and hot glue gun, and make sure to ask an adult for help if you need it!

Step 2: Glue on the Eye

Plug in your hot glue gun, and let it heat up. Once your glue gun is ready, add a dab of glue to the back of your googly eye. Press your googly eye to the top of your ornament, near its opening — we will be turning the ornament upside down later! Hold the eye to the ornament for a few moments until the glue is dry and the eye is secure.

Step 3: Make Your Arms

Thread your pipe cleaner through the loop of your ornament, leaving an equal length on each side. Then wrap each end of the pipe cleaner around the ornament’s opening to secure it. Pose your Glowbe’s new arms however you want, and trim any excess.

Step 4: Add Your Glowbe’s Hands

Add a dab of glue to the back of each of your pom-poms. Press one pom-pom to each end of your pipe cleaner, and hold them in position until the glue has dried.

Step 5: Create Your Hanger

Take a new pipe cleaner and create a loop to your desired size. Trim the pipe cleaner and bend the ends around each other to create a closed circle. Finally, add a dab of glue to your loop where its ends meet, and secure it to the top of your ornament. You can also use ribbon instead of pipe cleaners for a different look!
