Introduction: How to Make a Nerf Hoop Bow

Alright, tonight I will be teaching you guys how to make a Nerf Hoop Bow. Now I first made this back when I was around 12 years old. It's not terribly hard to make and only takes a few items to get started. Just watch out where you're shooting it. It launches the arrows pretty fast, but luckily the arrows are lightweight and therefore don't do that much damage. Just keep them away from the general face area.

Here's a demo of me testing out the product.

Step 1: Materials Needed

Short, simple list. You can do the expanded version if you want, but I don't have pictures to show you the semi circle one.

You will need:

-Nerf Hoop (No netting or backboard)
-A sharp paring knife or hunting knife
-A rubber band
-Aroma sticks

-Bent out paper clip (optional)
-Hack saw (optional)

Step 2: Cutting a Notch

You will need to cut a notch in the hoop so you can slide your arrows in with ease.
Take the nerf hoop and paring knife and cut two slots where you want to fit your 'arrow'. This may take a while since you're cutting through plastic. Once you've cut through you can smooth out the rough plastic if desired with a file.

Step 3: Attach Rubber Band [Finish]

Then take your rubber band. Loop one end around one of the netting slots and twist it around so the rubber band becomes one twisted elastic band.
You're now ready to use your 'bow'. Grab the Aroma sticks. [This will be your arrows]. If you want to have them fly straighter insert an unbent paper clip through the core of the aroma stick. This should be fairly easy since there are premade holes for the oil.
If you want a semi circle bow just take your hack saw and cut it down the middle and follow the same steps. You will need a larger rubber band though.
Good luck :)
