How to Remove Sweat Stains From White Shirts

Here are the steps needed to get those nasty looking yellow stains out of your nice white shirt! The pictures above are a representation of an before and after effect, with yellow stain magically disappearing with the help of these easy to do steps. Leaving your shirt looking fresh and clean with cleaning solutions that cost little to nothing, saving more money than sending it to the the dry cleaners.

Step 1: Identifying the Shirt That Has the Yellow Stain

Your looking in the mirror before you step outside and all of sudden notice that there's a bright yellow stain that distracts others from your breathtaking shirt . Choose this shirt as the one you want to get rid of this unsightly stain.

Step 2: What You Will Need

To preform this task you will need:

· (1) cup of vinegar

· (1) 1/2 cup baking soda

· (1) tablespoon of salt

· (1) One tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide

· (1) Your favorite liquid detergent (Tide)

· (1) Clorox Bleach

· (1) Washing machine,

· (1) 2 bowls preferably one large and one small size

· (1) Tablespoon that will be used to mix the cleaning solutions in a bowl

· (1) Sink that will be used to fill the bowls with water.

All of which can be found and purchased at any department stores for example, Walmart or Target for very low prices.

Step 3: Filling the Bowl With Water

Grab the large bowl and bring it to the sink and fill it 3/4 full with warm water.

Step 4: Pour the Vinegar Into the Bowl and Allow It to Soak

Pour the one cup of vinegar into the the large bowl and place the shirt inside allowing it to soak for at least 20 minutes.

Step 5: Mix the Cleaning Solutions Together and Allow Them to Sit on the Shirt

Mix together the baking soda, salt, and hydrogen peroxide until it forms a paste with the spoon inside the small bowl. Remove the shirt from the vinegar water and gently squeeze until the shirt is just damp. Lay flat on a work surface and coat the stain with the mixture. Hydrogen peroxide is a known natural whitening agent, and baking soda and salt work together to lift the stain. Allow this mixture to sit on the shirt for at least 20 minutes.

Step 6: Pour the Detergent Into the Washing Machine

Now Pour 1/3 of the cup of detergent into the washing machine first.

Step 7: Pour Clorox Bleach Into the Washing Machine

Pour 1/2 cup of Clorox Bleach in the bleach dispenser of the washing machine.

Step 8: Throw Your White Shirt Into the Washing Machine

After pouring the detergent and bleach next you want to throw your white shirt into the washing machine. To get the best results set the washing machine to hot water, the heat will scald the stains right out of those white items. Then you want to set to regular/normal cycle. Doing all of this will leave your white shirt crisp and fresh.

Step 9: Line Dry Your Shirt

Take your white shirt out of the washing machine and to prevent the fabrics in your shirt from wearing away and possibly shrinking, especially clothes that are made up of a cotton material you would want to line dry them. The time frame on this step varies because of how long the shirt takes to dry.

Step 10: Wear Your Shirt

Finally, once your shirt is dry you are now ready to sport you clean, spotless, and white than ever shirt. Go out and have fun on your first day of school, date, and if your trying to be just like Mike.
