Introduction: How to Make a Dustbin in Cardboard?

Please read all the instructions before starting the dustbin for your comprehension.

You need :
- Cissor
- Glue
- Ruller
- Pencil
- Paper with motif you like
- A thick cardboard
- Fine cardboards
- Two different plain papers
- Cutter
- Brown wrapping paper that I will call Kraft

Step 1: Step 1

On the thick cudboard, draw six trapezoid with a height of 26 cm, 10 cm wide on the top and 12 cm on the bottom.
Then, cut them with a cutter.
Draw a circle with a radius of 10 cm and transfer the radius six times on the circle. Connect the points to get an hexagon and cut it with the cutter.
Cut many strips of ktaft, one centimer shorter than the lenght of the trapezoid or of the hexagon’s side.
Glue the kraft under the hexagon and add the trapezoid, then do the same thing inside.
Do the same thing with the second trapezoid and glue the kraft on the two trapezoids inside and outside. Do this with the other trapezoids.

Step 2: Step 2

Cut six stripes of 2,5 x 28 cm in the plain paper. Then glue them one by one on the joint of two trapezoids. The strip must be longer 1,5 cm longer on each sides.
On the underside of the dustbin, cut the extra paper down the middle and glue it down and do this at the top but glue the two pieces on each side of the joint.
Do the same thing for all the corners.

Step 3: Step 3

In the fine cardboard, cut six trapezoids with a height of 26,2 cm, 12 cm wide on the top and 9 cm on the bottom. Glue on the fantasy paper. The paper must be 2 cm longer on each side. Do this for the six trapezoids.
Cut the corners at right angles and glue the sides behind the fine cardboard. Glue a piece of cardboard on the dustbin and then glue the extra paper inside the dustbin and under the dustbin. Do the same thing for all the sides.

Step 4: Step 4

In the fine cardboard, cut six trapezoids with a height of 25,6 cm, 12,5 cm wide on the top and 9,5 cm on the bottom. Try the trapezoids inside the dustbin to be sure they are right size. If need be, cut them until they are the right size.
Glue on all the trapezoids the second plain paper and cut the corners at right angles and glue the top of the paper on the back of the cardboard.

Step 5: Step 5

Glue the first piece of cardboard and the bottom and the sides inside the dustbin. Then, work in the clockwise. Then, with the second piece of cardboard, glue the left side to the cardboard then glue the piece of cardboard and the right side and the bottom to the dustbin. Do the same thing with the next three pieces of cardboard.
For the last piece of cardboard, glue both sides on the cardboard and glue the cardboard and the bottom on the dustbin.

Step 6: Step 6

For the bottom, cut an hexagon in the fine cardboard with a radius of 9,4 cm. Try it and if it is the right size, glue it on the paper. Cut all the corners down the middle and glue the extra paper on the back of the cardboard. Then glue it on the bottom of the dustbin.

Step 7: Step 7

In the thick cardboard, cut an hexagon with a radius of 10,3 cm. Glue it with the first paper you used and cut the corner down the middle. Glue the extra paper on the back. Glue the hexagon to the bottom of the dustbin and put in something heavy on it.
