In this Instructable I will show you how to make a short and simple animation intro for a logo. All you will need is a flash program. Video editing program is optional.

Step 1:

Firstly before you start animating you should create some sort of scene to animate. For example this is the scene I drew with the exception of the chicken and car which where pre made pictures added in. Your scene could be simple like stick man or more detailed.

Step 2:

After that you have created your scene and you are satisfied with it, now it is time to animate. You must create a new Key Frame so that you can allow your scene to move. Select your key frame then right click and select Copy Frames then paste them next to the Key Frame you have selected. Do this for every Key Frame from the first frame

Step 3:

Once you have created your next scene it is now time to move your objects. Make sure you have your selection tool selected then click and hold the object that you want to move in your scene. For example I want to move my chicken across the scene. So drag your object a little bit in the direction you want it to go, then let it go. Do this for all the objects you want to move, though you cant move it all the way to the location you want it all in one scene or else it wont move smoothly. All it will do is switch to that location, you can make it more complex and have multiple parts and objects moving.

Step 4:

If you want a object to move and get bigger as it approaches the center of the scene then you must follow step two but after you have dragged your object you must then select the Free Transform tool and re size it a small bit until it fits the location it is currently at. For example I want to make sure my car stays inside the white lines.

Step 5:

For a little bit of flair, at the end of my intro I made the chicken spiral off screen. To make an object spiral you must select it with the Free Transform tool. You then move it like in step two but every time you move it you rotate it so that your object is at a diagonal angle. Continue doing this until you do not want it spiraling no more.

Step 6:

Now find a clever way to add your logo and that is all you need to have an animated logo. Now if you want you can export it and open it up into a video editing program and add sounds and effects. Have fun!
