Introduction: How to Make Pacman Cushions.

About: I'm a boy and a guitarist and love hacking, modding and tinkering. When I was young, I always used to make stuff and I still do. P.S. I am awesome!!!!! ;-)

In this tutorial I will be telling you how to make some pacman style cushions.
These include Pacman and a blue ghost, but you could make them any colour you want.
Please enjoy reading my tutorial and making the cushions.

Step 1: What You Need.

What you need:

Pacman.
-A piece of yellow material the size you need.(the bigger the easier it is to make.)
-Stuffing.(I used polyester, but you can use any other stuffing if it is easier to get.)
-Scissors.(Pinking shears help to stop the material fraying.)
-Sewing machine.(but if you dont have access to one you could sew it by hand.)

Ghost.
-A piece of material.(the size and colour you want.)
-Stuffing..(I used polyester, but you can use any other stuffing if it is easier to get.)
-Scissors.(Pinking shears help to stop the material fraying.)
-Sewing machine.(but if you dont have access to one you could sew it by hand.)
-felt.

 And a pen and paper.
Pins.

Step 2: Pacman

Get your piece of yellow material.
And find something circular to draw around. This should be the size you want.

Draw around the the circle on to the piece of paper. Then cut out the circle with some scissors. Cut a V shape out of the template.
Now pin the paper template onto the your material. Using the pinking shears cut around the template leaving a large seam allowance.

Do this twice.

Step 3: Sewing Pacman.

Turn the two faces you want facing out on the inside.
Now pin them together. Then take it to the sewing machine.
Make sure you leave a Medium sized gap that you dont sew.

Then take it off the sewing machine. Snip a slit down the middle of pacmans mouth making sure you dont cut your sewing. Now put your hand in the gap in the sewing that you left earlier. Pull pacman inside out so you cant see the sewing and you have the right side of the material facing outwards.

Step 4: Stuffing Pacman.

Now get your stuffing. This is the fun bit, you really get to see your pacman come to life.
Start putting in small amounts in though the gap. Make sure you get the corners of the mouth done first.
Then just keep on putting in the stuffing making sure you pack it in evenly. Depending on how soft you want the cushion.
Finally sew up the gap and you will have your complete pacman.

Step 5: Ghost.

Get your piece of  material.
And find something circular to draw around. This should be the right size.

Draw around the the circle on to the piece of paper and add about a third of the circle as a straight line on each side. Then cut out the template with some scissors.
Now find the centre of the template and then measure about 3 inches up and from that evenly make it 1.5 inches either side. Then find a circular object  about 3-4 inches wide. Draw around this leaving 1.25 inches on the edges and when you have drawn half way around the circle make the line striaght.
Then pin the paper template onto the your material. Using the pinking shears cut around the template leaving a large seem allowance.

Do this twice.

Step 6: The Ghosts Eyes.

Take two pieces of Black and white felt and find a circle about 4 inches use this as a template and cut out two of these in white felt.

Now find a circle about half this size of the first one and use this as a template, cut out two of these in black.

Then sew the black circle on to the white circle about 5 mm from the edge.

Step 7: Sewing the Ghost.

Sew the eyes about an inch from the side of the ghosts body. Then put the two pieces of the body together so the side you want to face out is on the inside.
Now sew the pieces together leaving a medium sized gap for stuffing.
Put your hand inside the gap you left and pull him inside out so the eyes now face you.

Step 8: Stuffing the Ghost.

Get your stuffing and put a little into the legs of your ghost making sure you put it in evenly keep on filling until you get to how hard or soft you want your ghost to be. Try to make sure there are no lumps, if there is smooth them out.
Finally sew up the gap and you will have your finished Ghost.

Step 9: Finished.

This is them finished.
