How to Play: Guns N' Roses - Paradise City (Guitar)

Hey guys, ever wanted to play the song but just couldnt figure out how? This instructable will show you how to play this rockin' song! Just follow the tabs and look for the hints and you'll be rocking in no time at all!

This is the second song in my how to play guitar series. This time the great song by Guns N' Roses. If you have any requests add a comment or pm me and i will try my best!

Step 1: Intro

This step shows you how to play the intro. Start of by playing it slow then work up the pace. Use a clean eletric sound. If you use guitar pro you can download the gp5 file otherwise use the pdf.

Note: The playing is lead guitar (The Slash) so therefore there is no rhythm guitar.

Step 2: Chorus Part 1

This is where the singing starts but it is identical to the previous step.

Step 3: Chorus Part 2

This is where the distortion comes in! Play what you see. Start slow and work your way up.

Step 4: Verse 1

This is verse one. Start slow and work your way up. Alot of it is repeditive so work on the familiar bits first till you are comfortable with it that play it all together

Step 5: Verse 2

This is the second verse. It uses techniques you have used before so it should be easy.

Step 6: Chorus 2

Yes, another chorus. Similar to the previous one but only uses techniques you have learnt.

Step 7: Verse 3

Another verse.

Step 8: Chorus 3

Yip, its another chorus!

Step 9: Solo!

This is the bit to impress everyone with. Not super difficult but still very hard. If you show me a vid of you playing it i'll give you a cookie

Step 10: Verse 4

Yes, its another verse.

Step 11: Chorus 4

Yehaa!! The last chorus!!

Step 12: Overtime

The best bit. It is very long so be patient!
