Introduction: How to Prevent a Candle Wax Spillage: Making Wax Holders

Candles often spill on the candleholders and table. There is a simple way to prevent the spillage by making wax holders in few easy steps.

Step 1: Supplies

- Thin cardboard packaging from a large 3.5 oz. (100 g) chocolate bar
- The foil from the inner chocolate bar wrapping (or any aluminum foil)
- Regular scissors
- Small thin scissors

Step 2: Using the Regular Scissors, Cut Two Squares With Sides of 3.5 Inches From the Thin Cardboard and Cover Them With the Foil.

The easiest way of achieving this would be to cut the outer cardboard packaging in four quarters and the inner foil in half. Discard two of the cardboard squares or keep them to make new wax holders. Fold the foils over the remaining cardboard squares, covering both sides of each square.

Step 3: Make Two Small Crossing Cuts (about 1 Inch Each) in the Middle of Each Square.

The cuts must be large enough for the candles to pass through but small enough to fit tightly around the candles.

Step 4: Insert the Candles Through the Cuts of the Wax Holders.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Romantic Evening!

Warning: Never leave the lit candles unattended, because if they burn all the way, and the flame reaches the wax holders, they may catch on fire!
