Introduction: K'nex Tic-Tac-Toe

Are you or your kids ever bored in a long car ride?, need something to do when you or you kids are bored?, well then i have the solution for you. K'nex Tic-Tac-Toe it is small, compact, lightweight and you don't have to worry about keeping track of pieces because of several reasons.

1. When you playing the pieces lock in place so you don't have to worry about keeping the game perfectly straight.
2. Clean up is easy you just attack the pieces to the side.
So lets get started!

Step 1: Gather the Materials.

Rods: Small Green/ Black rods 22, White/ Silver/ Black rods 8 for board, 5 White/ Silver/ Black rods (for pieces), and 5 White/ Silver/ Black rods (for pieces, make sure they are different colors then the first set of pieces), Blue rods 8.
Connectors: 1 Full moon connector (White or black), 4 Half moon connectors (Gray or Yellow), 4 Elbow joints, has 3 places to connect rods (Red or black), 15 Purple/ Silver 4 way connectors, 3 Several shades of Blue 7 way connectors.
Misc: 9 Black Y connectors.

Step 2: Build the Top Panel.

This is the top of the game.
Pic#1-3 Just build like the pictures show.
Pic#4 Combine the parts you have made to get the top panel.

Step 3: Build the Bottom Half of the Game.

If there is a hard part to the instructable this is it, but really not that difficult.
Pic#1 Get all the Purple/ Silver and Blue connectors.
Pic#2 Combine 3 Purple/ Silver connectors with 3 Blue connector to get three combined pieces.
Pic#3 Take the rest of the purple connectors and connect them.
Pic#4 Connect the three combined pieces you made in Pic#2 using the small Green/ Black rods like so.
Pic#5 Connect the Purple connectors into 2 strips of 3 using the small Green/ Black rods as seen.
Pic#6 Combine Pics#4 and 5 as seen.
Pic#7 Take 4 White rods and connect them in between the spaces. Your almost done!!!

Step 4: Connecting the Top Panel

Lets do this connect the top panel to the bottom half of the game.
Pic#1 Attach all 9 Y connectors as shown.
Pic#2 Deconstruct the top panel as shown.
Pic#3 Attach 4 Blue rods to the white connector as shown.
Pic#4 Connect Pic#3 to the bottom half of the game as shown.
Pic#5 Attach 1 Blue rod to 1 Red/ Black elbow connector as shown.
Pic#6 Attach Pic#5 to the bottom half of the game as shown.
Pic#7 What the bottom of the game should look like.
Pic#8 Connect the rest of the top panel that you haven't used to the rest of the game as shown.

Step 5: Finishing Up and Final Project.

Lets finish the project.
Pic#1 Get 5 White/ Silver/ Black rods and attach them as shown.
Pic#2 Now get a new color of 5 White/ Silver/ Black rods that you didn't use in Pic#1 and attach them as shown.
