Ok, so Im going to show you the different types of knex grenades I've made. There are only two right now, but im ordering more knex on ebay and ill have some more for you. :P Oh yeah, almost forgot. Its my first instructable so blah blah you know the rest. You can comment on it now but i might add to it. Have fun and try to stay out of jail!

Step 1: Capsule Grenade

Alright this is my grenade. Note: it is meant to be a small grenade so that you can easily make multiple copies for knex wars and such. Its unique capsule design makes it easy to hold and throw. Sorry some of the pics are blurry.

Step 2: The Capsule

This is the part that will hold all of the ammo.
Parts you'll need:
1 short green/black rod
1 blue rod
5 yellow/dark grey rods
1 white/black snowflake connector
1 blue 3d connector
1 grey/purple 3d connector
1 light grey/purple connector

Step 3: The Plug

This'll keep the ammo in.
Parts you'll need:
1 blue rod
1 dark grey rod
4 light grey connectors
1 light grey/speckled "V" connectors
3 red/dark grey connectors
2 green connectors

Step 4: Ammo

This is really simple. Just put about 15+ green/black connectors into the capsule through the back of the grenade (slide the blue rod with the grey or purple piece down). Dont do this until after step 4, though.

Step 5: Putting Together

Ok. First, you attach the V shaped connector on the plug to the grey 3d connector on the capsule. Then you will need to fit the plug into the opening of the capsule. Just keep trying until you get it to sort of click in place. It should look like the picture below. Now put the ammo in, as said in step 3.

Step 6: Throwing and Reloding the Grenade

Throwing:When throwing this grenade, you will want to hold it horizontally so that the pin is facing up in your hand. Then twist the v connector(it should be facing you) so it stays on the pin and not the capsule. Then remove the pin with your other hand, and throw the grenade part. It should explode pretty decently for its size.
Reloading: Just pick up the ammo and repeat steps 3 and 4.

Step 7: Frag Grenade

This is my frag grenade. Unlike others on this site, it has two spots to hold the ammo. These pictures should be better than the capsule grenade ones.(i used a different camera.)

Step 8: Piece Count and Body

Pretty self-explanitory

Step 9: The Pin

Make this. If you replaced the yellow rods with longer ones on the body, go ahead and do the same here.

Step 10: Loading

Load it by putting the grey or blue connectoes onto the pin after it is partially in. Make sure you put as many as you can. The pin should snap onto the yellow rods if it is on the right way.

Step 11: Throwing and Troubleshooting

To throw it, remove the pin, while holding it by the body( careful not to touch the ammo!) and then throwing. It should burst on contact with the ground. If not, look below.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1.The ammo falls out when you take the pin out.
You need to make the rubberband tighter, but not too tight.

2. The grenade is not exploding on impact.
Adjust and losen the rubberband.
